We had a very interesting sports meeting.
First we had the throwing competition.Johnny throw the furthest.
Then we have the 50 meters dash, I won the secound.Peter who was in class 7 grade 4 won the first place.Then it's 200 meters running.I ran the first place.
After I finishe my dash running, I went to have the long jump. Michele tried, but Jennifer jump further than Michele, Peter jumped further than the two, finally I jump the furthest.
Next we have the relay race。We have eight people to have the competition.I'm the first, so I can ran as fast as I can.The other people tried their best to run, and I tried the best, so I'm proud of me, finally we can just get the sixth, but I'm happy say, we all tried the best.
What an interesting sports meeting that I'll never forget.

Every year, my school holds sports meeting in aboutOctober, I am very exciting about it, I can watch thewonderful game and don't have class.
My school's sports meeting lasts three days, the classis suspended, all the students go to the play groundto watch the game.
As an audience, I am so nervous and yell out "come on" to my classmate, watching they get tothe final line, I am so proud of them.
The part I like most is relay race, that is so exciting, all the students yell loudly, the athleteschase one by one, nobody can be sure who is the champion until the last minute.
Sports meeting bring me so many beautiful memories.

Sports lovers here always look forward to the month of August or September because of the Inter School Sports-meeting.These occasions used to be very colorful and attractive.Just like the previous years,this year’s sports-meeting was enjoyable.
It was held in the Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh city.The stadium was cheerfully decorated for that purpose.The bitumen tracks were neatly marked with white paint.The sports officials were in their official badges and the whole day they were busy with preparations.At about 2 p.m.that day,there was a march past by athletes in their respective school colors and flags.The chief Education Officer took the salute.With the singing of the Nation Anthem and the hoisting of the National Flag,he declared the meeting open.
There were many interesting events.There were also separate events for boys and girls.The competitors were tense and serious.They were in excellent physical fitness.Some new records were set in the 100,200 and 400 meter races.The hurdles and relays were some of the interesting track events.The girls’ events added some color and mirth to the spectators.Of the girls’ items,the tug-of-war was a never ending source of merriment.Throughout the events,our school band was in attendance.
After the meeting was over,the Chief Education Officer gave the trophies and certificates to the winners.He complimented the athletes on their performance.The Secretary of the Inter School Sports Council thanked the distinguished guests for their presence.With the singing of the Nation Anthem,the meeting came to a grand close.
On that particular day,we shared the atmosphere of real joy and gladness.It is one of the most enjoyable days in our academic life.

Good morning! I am Oscar, the spokesman of the Students’ Union. On behalf of the Students’ Union, the main organizer of today’s sports meeting, I welcome you all to the beautiful stadium. After two months’ preparation, our annual sports meeting is held on schedule.
Thanks to the support and help from our school leaders and teachers. Though they have many school responsibilities, they have taken time off to take part in our sports activities. At the elementary school today it is a sports day; all the parents and friends were invited to attend. Each class in the school was competing in one or more sports events such as relay races, distance races, ball games, parades, and so on. All the guests had small chairs to sit on at one side of the school field. There were refreshments given and a concession stand available if you wanted to buy ice-cream or candy . everyone cheered and clapped after each event. Special honors were given to individual winners, but all in all, everyone felt great that day.

Last week we had the school sports meet on our school sports ground. All my classmates took active parts in it. Sometimes we watched the sports games closely.Sometimes we gave loud cheers to the sports members.
John took a part in 1500-metre race. He was the fastest runner in the race and won the first place. Lisa did not do well in high-jump, so we said “come on” to cheer her up. I took part in 200-metre running race. As soon as I heard the starting PANG, I tried my best to run faster than others. As I was running I could hear “Come on! Come on!”from my classmates.This gave me great strenth. Finally I was the first person to get to the finishing line.I was number one.

We have a sports meeting last term. It has last for a day. I think it’s funny, just like a game.
First is running. And the other part is jumping. The meeting is very exciting. I watched the running match, but I didn’t watch the jumping match. What a pity!
Ha-ha, I ran with my classmate then. Because I want to cheer them on. But always they ran faster than me long. So I had to try my best to catch them up. It’s a hard work, I think.
The match is very fierce. The players are powerful. Who is the best? We guess. All of us hope the winner is our class. Finally, the best will get congratulations. And others also will get comfort and support.
Oh, I am forget something.
